Offering a 4 class series exploring Trauma-Informed Somatic Restorative Yoga & Healing Savasana.
Each session begins with a trauma-informed overview led by Mary Sue McCarthy, LCPC, CCTP providing a deep understanding of how traumatic experiences can persist within the body, creating a sense of reliving past events in the present moment and how we can begin to release those held experiences.
Following Mary Sue, Jennifer Misterka, 500RYT will guide participants through a gentle Somatic Restorative Yoga practice followed by a Healing Savasana designed to foster self-connection and facilitate the release of trauma's felt sense.
Our aim is to explore and cultivate new pathways for emotional regulation and somatic calming. This workshop will not be for sharing personal stories or triggers.
